Why we exist

Built by Alexandre Bureau

With more than twenty years building complex distributed systems — from large-scale Java platforms and team leadership to architecting a new distributed web search engine and high-frequency trading systems using C++ and machine learning — performance at scale has always been central to the work.

He currently helps design and operate some of the largest HPC clusters on the planet for a major industry player. At the same time, he is convinced that generative AI will fundamentally reshape every industry — and that the most important models and data should not have to live in someone else's cloud.
